If I have occasion to visit this area again, I will try some other place. Some place more hospitable. The rooms were OK, and the place was clean, the beds were reasonably comfortable. If the innkeeper had not been a no-show, it would have been a very pleasant experience.
i went there for desiple now and it was awsome we got to play pool and there was lots of hot water i would go there again
Great time, good rates, very clean. Kitchen down the hall. Pool table and Juke Box in party room.

I would rate this place higher, but the innkeeper was a no-show. I first tried to check in early - at 11 am - on a Saturday morning. The place - back and front - was locked up tight. I spent an hour driving up from where I was going to be that day, only to find no one there to let me drop off my stuff. Around 4 pm I called the innkeeper ahead of time, only to hear that she was out of town, and would have her daughter come meet me to check me in. When I arrived at 5 pm, again no one was there. This time when I called the innkeeper my phone call rolled over to voice mail. The daughter finally drove up 30 minutes late, checked us in, and showed us around. We were the only guests, which was OK, I guess. I was told that the innkeeper (sorry, forgot her name) would be there the next morning to set out a continental breakfast. She never showed up. No breakfast. Just a couple of pieces of fresh fruit. We made ourselves coffee, locked up and left.
This is a small hotel. It has only 5 or 6 rooms. The building was built in 1909 (same as the founding of the town). The staff are extremely helpful. And best of all the rooms are immaculant. The restrooms are down the hall - but they too are extremely clean. The major drawback is that you will not be able to get internet service.
